Gemavip was born in 2007. Ottavio Podda, an agricultural expert and passionate about botany, with a master degree in phytotherapy and a long experience in the pharmaceutical sector, began producing phytotherapeutic preparations for health and well-being. The first product was Vitgase, a supplement. Year after year, the catalog thickened with products dedicated to personal care based on natural active ingredients, particularly those from Sardinian plants.
Growth
In 2017 he realized that extra virgin olive oil could enhance ozone properties. And Ialozon® was born, a mouthwash without chlorhexidine. Thanks to ozonated organic extra virgin olive oil, it offers oral hygiene and thorough disinfection. This way, after the creation of the personal care line came a line dedicated to oral hygiene.

In particular, the Sardinian extra virgin olive oil, produced by the family company in Villaspeciosa, allows preserve the beneficial qualities of ozone over time, guaranteeing a quick and effective action.

Gemavip’s distribution network is in constant expansion. In Italy, the company has a team that guarantees widespread coverage throughout the country. Thanks to production partners located in Milan, Florence and Naples, Gemavip ensures its constant presence. This approach allows flexibility in production and absolute attention to company standards. The distribution in Italy is made through pharmacies and parapharmacies. The growth of the brand is also crossing borders towards Spain, Germany, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
